We live this place on the “quiet side” of the Smokies. It’s close access to Cades Cove and hiking trails, etc. is a great fit for us who don’t want to deal with Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. The rooms are clean and the staff are helpful. It’s not the fanciest place but always clean and quiet. Our only complaint is the rooms are not very dark due to transom window over the door.
Very nice stay. The room was clean and comfortable with a very nice jacuzzi tub. Pet friendly was a bonus. The location was great. Easy access to the national park and cades cove.
We loved our stay at Talley Ho Inn! We were looking for a quiet part of the Smoky Mountains, and this place was perfect. The hotel was amazing, comfortable beds, clean rooms, and a very peaceful atmosphere. We stayed for 7 nights and had a great experience with absolutely no complaints. We will definitely be coming back!
I absolutely loved my stay at the Tallyho Hotel in Townsend! The location is perfect—right in the heart of the Smokies with stunning mountain views all around. The rooms have been beautifully refurbished, blending modern comfort with a cozy mountain feel. Everything felt fresh, clean, and welcoming. It’s also pet-friendly, which made traveling with my dog so easy. Between the gorgeous scenery, convenient location, and updated accommodations, this hotel is a gem. I can’t wait to come back!
This is the third or fourth time we've stayed here. It's a great choice when you visit the Smokies. We've stayed in the original 8 before and loved it but this was just as enjoyable. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, great location. I think this is where we will always stay. Sharing a picture off our patio this morning.
It was a great location for our weekend getaway! We love to stay on the peaceful side of the smoky’s. It’s only a couple of miles from the entrance of the park and a short drive to Cades Cove. It’s close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to be able to do your daily adventures then come back and relax in your room. We will definitely be back again!
Perfectly situated on the peaceful side, with easy access to both Pigeon Forge and Cades Cove. The rooms are spacious and recently renovated. We had a large balcony with a nice lawn and mountain view. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. We will stay there again!
Most everything was very nice. The room was very clean, the atmosphere quiet, and the price reasonable. The only downside was our bed's mattress (room 106) was sagging on the left side. It needs replaced.
